MFG STATE OF THE MARKET 1-12-25
The markets sold off last week. There seems to be a shift of money from stocks into commodities. Oil (USO) is the leading asset class of The Wind. USO is trading at an extreme-high RSI reading above its 200-day SMA. Gold (GLD) is following right behind with a stage 2 breakout underway.
Bitcoin (BTC) is still trading in its stage 3 box. You never know when a stage 3 will become a 1, so always be ready to execute. Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is in a stage 1 accumulation zone with a possible stage 2 breakout underway.
All three of the major indexes sold off. The Nasdaq (QQQ), the S&P 500 (SPY), and the Diamonds (DIA) all broke support. Bonds (TLT) are in a stage 4 decline below its 200-day and trading at an extreme-low RSI reading.
The Russell 2000 (IWM) also broke support and is now trading right above its 200-day SMA. Energy (XLE) was the best performing sector of the S&P 500 (SPY), while Real Estate (XLRE) was the worst. Be patient and stay in flow

Last week was a wild week for the MFG portfolio!! We finally saw a huge pop out of one of our trainwreck listed stocks- Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. (WBA)!! The company had its best day ever in its history in the stock market and popped over 27% when it beat earnings. WBA was the best performing stock of the SPY on Friday and also completed its B&B trade.
I didn’t make many moves last week. I trimmed EQT.

There’s confluence of the Money Flow indicators here. AMGN is one of the Dogs of The Dow. According to analyst Karen from Morningstar, AMGN has a fair value of $317 and is currently trading undervalued.
