MFG STATE OF THE MARKET 1-26-25
The markets finished strong last week! Gold (GLD) is currently the leading asset class of The Wind and trading at a near extreme-high reading above its 200-day SMA, with the Dow Jones (DIA) following right behind. The major indexes demonstrated strength over the week.
The Dow Jones (DIA), S&P 500 (SPY), and the Nasdaq (QQQ) all posted solid weekly gains, each rising for the second consecutive week. This positive momentum was fueled by optimism surrounding corporate earnings, advancements in artificial intelligence, and pro-business initiatives from the new administration.
Bitcoin (BTC) is still in a stage 2 uptrend. Oil (USO) is in a stage 3, but looks like it may possibly roll over here. Bonds (TLT) are in a stage 2 buy zone below its 200-day SMA. The Russell 2000 (IWM) is in a stage 2 uptrend.
Communication Services (XLC) was the best performing sector of the S&P 500 (SPY), while Energy(XLE) was the worst. Be patient and stay in flow.

Last week was another amazing week for the MFG portfolio! I did great day trading and collected even more weekly dividends. The MFG took profits in CSCO, JPM, and MPW.
I trimmed CSCO and added to CUBE, NKE, ADBE, and FUBO. I’ve also been focused on increasing my dividend income to $100k per year. Dividends are the only true passive income.

I’m looking to add shares here. The first target is the 200-day SMA. JNJ is also one of the Dogs of The Dow. According to analyst Karen from Morningstar, JNJ has a fair value of $164 and is currently trading undervalued.
