The Sunday Edition of the Money Flow Newsletter
MFG STATE OF THE MARKET 11-17-24
Last week was another historical one for the markets and Bitcoin (BTC), which reached a new all-time high of $93,482!! The major indexes also hit new all-time highs again.
The S&P 500 Large Cap Index ($SPX) tagged 6,000 points and the Dow Jones Industrial Average ($INDU) broke 44,000 points. Towards the end of the week, all three indexes fell. The Nasdaq (QQQ) may be entering a stage 4 decline.
The S&P 500 (SPY) and the Diamonds (DIA) both closed above their 20-day SMA. Bonds (TLT) is still holding its anchor point and stage 1 box right below its 200-day SMA. This week will tell us if bonds and the markets rollover.
Oil (USO) is in a stage 1 accumulation zone below its 200-day SMA, while the Energy Sector (XLE) has been in a beautiful stage 2 uptrend above its 200-day SMA. Gold (GLD) is still in a stage 4 decline. I’m watching for stage 1 opportunities here.
Financials (XLF) was the best performing sector of the S&P 500 (SPY), while Health Care (XLV) was the worst. Be patient and stay in flow.

Last week was another great week for the MFG portfolio!! Crypto stocks and coins were flying! I’m not trimming any of my positions here; I’m letting them run and watching BTC closely.
I didn’t make many moves. I called an audible on DOW and started a B&B trade. I trimmed my BTC futures contracts, opened a new swing trade in HSY, and closed my swing trade in SOXL.

Third Quarter Earnings Season is Coming to an End
A few stocks inside the MFG portfolio are scheduled to report earnings this week.
Tuesday: WMT
Wednesday: TGT, ZIM, SNOW, NVDA
Nvidia NVDA 0.00%↑ reports earnings on Wednesday after the market closes. This weekend while doing my homework, I came across a fascinating article about Jensen Huang the co-founder and CEO of Nvidia.
The article highlighted NVDA’s innovation-driven culture, driven by Huang's leadership and strategic vision, including his use of whiteboarding to cultivate collaboration and creativity.
This is what I learned about Nvidia’s Whiteboard Culture:
At NVDA, whiteboards symbolize innovation and adaptability, developing active problem-solving and collaboration.
Huang’s use of whiteboarding as both a teaching and learning tool encourages transparency, critical thinking, and real-time problem-solving among employees.
Whiteboards are a feature of every conference room in Nvidia’s headquarters, signaling the importance of adaptability and the necessity of daily innovation.
The whiteboard represents the impermanence of ideas. Once a problem is solved or a concept is outdated, it’s erased, emphasizing the need for continuous innovation.
Whiteboarding sessions require employees to actively demonstrate their understanding and thought processes, cultivating a culture of accountability.
As you guys know, I do my homework on my whiteboard every Sunday; I swear by it. It was cool to see the whiteboard impact the largest company in the world. Jensen Huang's leadership, Nvidia’s transformative AI advancements, and the company’s culture of continuous innovation—symbolized by the whiteboard—have made NVDA a global powerhouse.
Bitcoin (BTC) Reached A New All-Time High of $93K!! 🚨🥳

👉👉BTC and other crypto coins can run hot on extreme-high RSIs for a while during crypto bull runs.
👉👉There’s absolute no rush to sell any crypto stocks or coins here. Take some profits at extreme-highs, but let the rest run. I’ve had 400-500% returns. Crypto and the stock market can go higher than you can imagine!!
👉👉Don’t sell your whole bag or swing trades too early; don’t be that person. 👈👈
Ripple (XRP) finally exploded!! 🌝🌝
XRP has moved 100% in the last two weeks. I haven’t trimmed any of my position yet. I’m expecting a much higher return. 👈👈

Dollar General Bread & Butter Trade

Dollar General Corp. DG 0.00%↑ has gotten smashed. It’s now trading well below its 200-day SMA. I’ve been accumulating shares. I’m watching price closely here to make sure it holds its anchor point. DG presents an opportunity to open a B&B trade or add to your buy and hold account. According to analyst Noah from Morningstar, DG has a fair value of $130 and is currently trading significantly undervalued.
