MFG STATE OF THE MARKET 5-12-24

The markets continued to finish strong again this past week! The Diamonds (DIA) were the leading asset class of the Wind with the S&P 500 (SPY) and the Nasdaq (QQQ) following right behind. A stage 2 breakout is underway in Gold (GLD).

Bonds (TLT) are in a stage 2 breakout right below its 200-day SMA. OIL (USO) is forming a stage 1 consolidation zone right above its 200-day SMA. Bitcoin (BTC) is still in its stage 1 box and building out a $12,000 trading range. Be patient and stay in flow.

Last week was another amazing week for the MFG portfolio! I collected over $5,000 in dividends. We saw a beautiful move in Utilities (XLU/UTSL) banging an extreme-high RSI. We took profits in UTSL, SO, DUK, ED, and D. SNAP and ZIM both banged extreme-high RSI readings as well. This week, I'm planning to trim AIR, HSY, and KO.

We still have many stage 1 setup opportunities in the market right now. I'm stalking DASH, CVS, UBER, TSLA, and ABNB.

I'm looking to add to INTC, IBM, SBUX, WBA, GILD, DNUT, BMY, LYFT, SOFI, ROKU, GUSH, and extreme-yield funds USOI, OARK, AMDY, ULTY, MSTY, BITO, XOMO, FBY, and CONY.
