The Sunday Edition of the Money Flow Newsletter

MFG STATE OF THE MARKET 5-19-24

The markets continued to climb higher this past week! The Dow Jones ($INDU) hit 40,000 and Bitcoin (BTC) hit $67,000. Most of the major indexes tracked by the MFG tagged previous highs and are trading at near or extreme-high RSI readings.

The Diamonds (DIA) continue to be the leading asset class of the Wind with the S&P 500 (SPY) and the Nasdaq (QQQ) right behind. A stage 2 breakout is underway in Gold (GLD) above its 200-day SMA.

A stage 2 breakout is also underway in BTC. Bonds (TLT) blew through its 200-day SMA and OIL (USO) is still in a stage 1 accumulation zone right above its 200-day SMA. Be patient and stay in flow

Last week was another great week for the MFG portfolio! I've been a buyer of Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and letting my trades run. RDDT, ZIM, MPW, and WMT banged extreme-high RSI readings, but I didn't trim those positions.

I trimmed AIR, CELH, AAPL, FLNG, and UTSL. I rolled profits forward to INTC, AMD, SBUX, GUSH, SOFI, and LYFT.

I'm following the markets closely here for potential setups.

This week, I'm watching and looking to add to CVS, BMY, INTC, SBUX, DNUT, GUSH, DASH, LYFT, UBER, ROKU, CLSK, CONL, SOFI, WBD, and extreme-yield funds USOI, USOY, CONY, TSLY, and FBY.
