MFG STATE OF THE MARKET 7-28-24
After a challenging start to the week, the markets ended on a positive note! The markets constantly remind us of the difficulties in trading and investing. What began as a sell-off or correction turned into a potential rally by Friday.
Bitcoin (BTC) remains as the leading asset class of The Wind and is trading at a near extreme-high RSI reading. The Dow Jones (DIA) led the major indexes, while the S&P 500 (SPY) and the Nasdaq (QQQ) are still in stage 4 declines. It looks like we may have found a bottom here. Early this week will indicate if we have established an anchor point and will move sideways.
Bonds (TLT) are set to break out just above its 200-day SMA, while Oil (USO) is in a stage 4 decline just above its 200-day SMA. Gold (GLD) has pulled back slightly, but is still holding within its stage 3 consolidation zone. Be patient and stay in flow.

Last week was another great week for the MFG portfolio.
The 2x leveraged regional banks trade (KRE/DPST) continues to keep going higher and printing money. The MFG took has taken profits and is letting the rest of the trade run.
We finally saw a beautiful breakout move in WBA and BMY completed its B&B trade! I didn’t make many moves last week, but I closed my swing trade in ADBE for a nice gain.

This week, I’m keeping a close eye on QQQ/TQQQ, SPY/UPRO, USO/OILU, CRWD, GOOG, BXMT, DLR, MBLY, ENVX, SNAP, AMD, AAPL, and TSLA.
