MFG STATE OF THE MARKET 11-3-24
Last week’s market activity was intense, and this week could bring even more volatility with the upcoming Presidential election and the FOMC's November interest rate decision on the horizon! It appears we survived the Halloween sell-off with all three of the major indexes closing in the green on Friday.
Gold (GLD) is still leading The Wind and hit a new all-time high again. Bitcoin (BTC) is holding its stage 3 consolidation zone above its 200-day SMA. BTC tested its 20-day SMA, but has closed above it. The Dow Jones (DIA) is still in a stage 4 decline. The S&P 500 (SPY) and the Nasdaq (QQQ) are entering possible stage 4 declines as well.
Look for undervalued stocks and follow the Money Flow rules. Oil (USO) is in a stage 1 accumulation zone below its 200-day SMA. Bonds (TLT) are in a stage 1 accumulation zone and trading at a near extreme-low RSI reading right below its 200-day SMA. This week will tell us more if the markets and bonds roll over.
Communication Services (XLC) was the best performing sector of the S&P 500 (SPY), while Real Estate (XLRE) was the worst. Be patient and stay in flow.

Last week was another amazing week for the MFG portfolio!! Reddit (RDDT) and Snapchat (SNAP) both popped over 20% when their earnings report was released and price tagged an extreme-high RSI reading. The MFG trimmed down shares here to lock in profits.
I put on a short-term swing trade in Altria (MO) and price hit its target and an extreme-high RSI reading in one day! I closed the trade for a quick gain. We also saw beautiful moves out of CRSP, COP, and MBLY and PZZA completed its B&B swing trade. I closed my BTC futures contracts for a nice win.
